Distribution of Bombus fervidus in British Columbia in British Columbia

Introduction


The Golden Northern Bumble Bee is found from Quebec and New Brunswick, through to Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, south to Georgia, west to British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, California and Mexico (Bumblebee.org 2011).

Note that this species' ID was verified by Robbin Thorp as Bombus californicus. Robbin (2013) says: some consider B. californicus{/a} to be a subspecies or junior synonym of B. fervidus.
